چکیده
Mussaenda philippica Linn. belongs to the sub-family Ixoroideae which family Rubiaceae. The aim of this study was employ quality control parameters in evaluation flowers M. L. were collected, identified, air dried and pulverized. Standard procedures carried out obtain microscopic features fresh powdered samples, micromeritic, chemomicroscopy, flourescence properties, soluble-extractive values, moisture content ash values. results studies using flower revealed presence paracytic anomocytic stomata on abaxial surface (hypostomatic) none adaxial. also had a stomatal number 13.6, index 4.97% epidermal 260.8 while adaxial an 304.4. plant samples possessed unicellular trichomes. Results micromeritic properties bulk volume 67.16±0.16, tapped 48.00±0.57, density 0.14±0.00, 0.20±0.00, angle repose 38.5°, Carr’s Index 28.50±0.81 Hausner’s ratio 1.39±0.01. Chemomicroscopy showed cellulose, mucilage protein. values obtained was13%w/w. for total ash, acid-insoluble water-soluble 7.7%w/w, 1.3%w/w 4%w/w ethanol-soluble, methanol-soluble extractive 33%w/w, 33%w/w 36%w/w. above could be used establish pharmacopoeial standards both philippica.

Pharmacognostic Studies on Centella Asiatica (l) Urban
The paper deals with pharmacognosy of Centella asiatica (L.) Urban, including its morphological, anatomical, chemical constituents and powder analysis. Stomata are mostly anisotricytic, isotricytic and few tetracytic. Sphaero-crystals of calcium oxalate are observed in palisade, spongy and ground parenchyma of leaf lamina, petiole and rhizome and absent in roots. Uniseriate flagellate conical h...

1. to determine whether difference in birth body mass influenced growth performance in pipistrellus kuhlii we studied a total of 12 captive-born neonates. bats were assigned to two body mass groups: light birth body mass (lbw: 0.89 ± 0.05, n=8) and heavy birth body mass (hbw: 1.35 ± 0.08, n=4). heavier body mass at birth was associated with rapid postnatal growth (body mass and forearm length) ...
